Randolph Schools welcomed almost 30 new staff members across the district at this year’s New Staff Orientation. Three days in August were intentionally designed to give each new member of our Randolph family a glimpse into our educational beliefs and to ensure that they felt prepared to hit the ground running on the first day of school and beyond. Our administrative team led interactive learning sessions designed to be authentic, collaborative, and inclusive of various stakeholder s across our learning community. Experiences were wrapped around a few of our core values; the power of positive relationships, instruction that impacts student achievement, and of course, reflection. New staff learned a bit about Randolph’s rich history from Mayor Mark H. Forstenhausler, took a bus tour around town, learned with and from their mentors and instructional coaches, spent an afternoon at their assigned buildings to better acclimate themselves to building-specific procedures, and collaborated on a “Global Challenge” which culminated in each group succeeding in their mission to make a difference in the lives of others around the world.
Wishing our new and returning staff members an amazing 2018-2019 school year!
