Each November New Jersey teachers and paraprofessionals have an opportunity to attend NJEA’s Convention in Atlantic City to learn and collaborate with educators from around the state. This year our district administrators spent these two days collaborating and learning from one another right here in Randolph. On November 9th principals, vice principals, supervisors, and directors spent time developing their own leadership skills. We also welcomed a special guest, Mr. Curioni of Curioni’s Pizza in Lodi, who showed us how to make the perfect pizza in the recently renovated culinary arts room in the high school. The administrators relied on the strengths of one another to work collaboratively in teams to make specialty pizzas for each other to enjoy. On November 10th the administrative team spent time discussing leadership and working in focus groups to outline actionable items for each of the four district goals. I am so appreciative to work with leaders who truly are lifelong learners!
